How are you able to join art and nature?
“It is normal for me! I’ve always seen the beauty
of Italy, especially Tuscany, as a reality where art,
especially sculpture, blends perfectly with the landscape.
I’m friends with important artists who have
given me their works in these years. I, myself, am a
sculptor and I have a corner at home where I used
to sculpt marble with some friends. Even the twelve
and a half metre Salamander was made there”.
Lera has shown the actual possibility of successfully
interpreting respect for man’s needs with those
of nature. The shape and function of a building
does not just end there but they communicate with
space and nature in perfect harmony. His concept
of architecture is the fusion between history, culture
and art. Tiziano Lera is a bioarchitect in the
true sense of the word, whose vision is constantly
projected in the future. In his vision of architecture,
materials take shape stimulated by the nature
they are surrounded with. The transformation, in
the project’s very being, is an added value exalting
the landscape, rebuilding the identity of a place
where to live better. An example is the project presented

Come si riesce a unire arte e natura?
“Per me è normale! Ho sempre visto la bellezza
dell’Italia, e della Toscana in particolare, come
realtà dove l’arte, soprattutto la scultura, si sposa
alla perfezione con il paesaggio. Sono amico di
grandi artisti che mi hanno donato nel tempo le
opere. Io stesso sono scultore e a casa ho un angolo
dove scolpivo il marmo con alcuni amici. Anche la
Salamandra di dodici metri e mezzo è stata realizzata
lì”. Lera ha dimostrato la reale possibilità
di leggere con successo il rispetto per le necessità
dell’uomo con quello per la natura. La forma e la
funzione di un edificio non sono fini a se stesse,
ma dialogano con lo spazio e la natura in un perfetto
equilibrio. Il suo concetto di architettura è
la fusione fra storia, cultura e arte. Tiziano Lera
è bioarchitetto nel vero senso della parola, la cui
visione è proiettata costantemente nel futuro. Nel
suo modo di vedere l’architettura, i materiali prendono
forma stuzzicati dalla natura che li circonda.
La trasformazione, nell’essenza del progetto, è un
valore aggiunto che esalta il paesaggio, ricostruendo
l’identità di un luogo dove si vive meglio. Un
