ECONOMIC ANALYSIS OF THE BROILER ENTERPRISES
PRODUCING UNDER KÖY-TÜR VERTICAL INTEGRATED
MARKETING SYSTEM IN KIZILCAHAMAM
DISTRICTS OF ANKARA
The aim of study is economic analysis and conveys capital structure as
well as annual activity results by examining broiler enterprises of KÖY-
TÜR Holding in Kızılcahamam included in a "closed integration system"
put in the practice after 1993 by KÖY-TÜR Holding. According to Closed
Integration System, enterprise rents producer's facility and services with a
contract and makes payments for these services related to technical
performance (TL/kg). In this case, inputs provided to producer and broilers
produced are goods of enterprise.
While the feed cost has 70,51 percent as the highest ratio, the chick
cost has 16,56 percent in the total cost at observed farms. It is found out
that net profit is 2,32; gross margin 3 and farm income 2,55 billion TL on
these farms.
