Festivalen – der har udviklet sig til én af de 5-6 bedst besøgte festivaler i Danmark –
bygger på en masse frivillige kræfter fra store dele af foreningslivet i Odsherred. Med
flere scener, børneområde og børneunderholdning, restauranter og spiseboder samt
store campingarealer, er det nærmest en lille by, der vokser op og danner ramme om
3 festlige dage med det bedste fra den danske rock- og popscene.
Men det er ikke kun i Vig, der afholdes festival. Syd for Rørvig holdes hvert år Nakkefestival,
hvor fokus er på den lidt mere eksperimenterende musik.
”Honky tonk town” er en ny tradition, der er ved at blive opbygget i Nykøbing. En
aften med masser af god musik på byens værtshuse og spisesteder. Med et ”Honky
tonk-armbånd” har I adgang til det hele!

revue and summer satire
the Dragsholm Revue has become a great success. In
its seventh season, the actors have promised to “let
their imagination go wild” – whatever they mean by
that?!
the revue is on at Fårevejle Golf Hotel where you may
also enjoy a “revue dinner”.
Odsherred theatre is staging “Halløj på Bøhlandet” in
June and July. A harsh satire about life in “Denmark
far out”.
Good rhythms
Vig Festival has acquired a reputation as a genuine
family festival with focus on Danish rock and pop.
More than 13,000 fans every year give the festival site
and Vig town a great atmosphere.
the festival which has developed into one of the 5-6
most popular festivals in Denmark is based on voluntary
work from the many local clubs and societies in
Odsherred.
With several stages, a separate area for children with
special entertainment, restaurants and food stalls as
well as spacious camping areas, it is almost a small
town that emerges and creates the setting of 3 festive
days with the best of Danish rock and pop.
But Vig is not the only festival town: South of Rørvig,
the annual Nakke-festival is held with focus on the
more experimental kind of music.
”Honky tonk town” is a new tradition taking root in
Nykøbing. An evening with lots of good music at the
town’s bars and eating places. With a “Honky tonkbracelet”
you have admission to it all!
