Originalrede Präsident Kolbe zu INT/979 - Auszug aus dem Protokoll vom 21.9.<strong>2022</strong><br />
I would like to add and stress that for the liberal professions this opinion is extremely important: It raises the awareness that<br />
liberal professions are an essential and integral part of the group of SMEs in Europe and that they play a major role in reaching<br />
the aims of climate-neutrality and a circular and inclusive EU economy.<br />
The Fit for 55 - success will depend with a high degree of independent professional expertise as regards optimised innovative<br />
solutions for climate change and other environmental challenges. A fair green transition requires high-quality and independent<br />
technical, legal, financial and social expertise and advice.<br />
For securing the availability of this high-quality expertise regulation plays a key role. Therefore, the EESC calls for EU-wide<br />
measures for incentivising the Member States to promote professional regulations that are able to ensure that the implementation<br />
of the green and digital transition is based on the best solutions.<br />
Additionally, successful transition processes rely on public procurement regulations that are focused on mandatory quality<br />
competition. The current situation does not allow for supposedly “cheap” solutions, that we have to fix with much more money<br />
later on because they didn’t work.<br />
Our window of opportunity to influence the climate change is closing fast, therefore it is necessary to adapt EU procurement<br />
legislation and implement mandatory quality competition especially for intellectual services as soon as possible.<br />
I think that the opinion is an important piece of puzzle towards green transition by highlighting the important levers that<br />
need to be moved in SME policy.<br />

fanden am 25.9.<strong>2022</strong> in Sofia<br />
und am 28.10.<strong>2022</strong> in Brüssel Informationsveranstaltungen<br />
mit<br />
Repräsentanten der Regierungen<br />
sowie Vertretern aus freiberuflichen<br />
Organisationen statt.<br />
Neben der Vorstellung der Inhalte<br />
und Empfehlungen der Stellungnahme<br />
durch die Berichterstatter<br />
Milena Angelova und Rudolf Kolbe<br />
wurden von den jeweiligen Keyspeakern<br />
konkret Vorträge und<br />
Präsentationen zu folgenden<br />
Hauptthemen gehalten:<br />
- sucessfull green transition<br />
- climate/digital transition<br />
- new technologies<br />
Das Resumée dazu war, dass die<br />
Themenbearbeitung in Bulgarien<br />
noch auf Regierungsebene durch<br />
die entsprechenden Bereichs- bzw.<br />
Fachminister stattfindet. Belgien<br />
ist hier schon einen Schritt weiter<br />
und das Themensetting ist bereits<br />
direkt bei den freiberuflichen Verbänden<br />
bzw. Kammern angelangt.<br />
Die Thematik wurde bei beiden<br />
Veranstaltungen als wichtiger und<br />
wesentlicher Beitrag für die wirtschaftliche<br />
Zukunft gewertet.<br />

Im Mittelpunkt standen die Auswirkungen<br />
der Ukraine-Russland-<br />
Krise auf die Energiewirtschaft, die<br />
möglichen Folgen für die EU-Erweiterung<br />
sowie die digitalen Herausforderungen<br />
im Kommunikationsbereich<br />
hinsichtlich Cyber-Attacken<br />
und Fake-News-Kampagnen.<br />
Mit den Keynotespeakern aus<br />
Radio/TV konnte über die aktuellsten<br />
Themen diskutiert werden.
