„Beim ersten Hören des Songs entstanden bei mir im
Kopf gleich die Bilder, die mehr oder weniger genauso in
der finalen Fassung des Videos zu sehen sind“, erinnert
sich Sebastian. „Mit der Umsetzung des Projekts ging’s
für mich quasi zurück zu den Wurzeln. Wie einst an der
Filmakademie gelernt, habe ich ein kleines Filmprojekt
von A bis Z selbst realisiert.“
Seine Ausbildung habe ihm sehr geholfen, das Video
verwirklichen zu können. „Die Filmakademie ist ein
großartiger Wegbereiter für Filmschaffende in allen Bereichen“,
unterstreicht Sebastian. „Du bekommst ein extrem
gutes Netzwerk und lernst alle Werkzeuge kennen.“
Das zahle sich aus. Er treffe bei seiner Arbeit immer wieder
auf Absolventinnen und Absolventen der ‚Aka‘. „Das
soll sich jetzt nicht arrogant anhören, aber wenn man
die irgendwo trifft, weiß man, dass die Sache gut laufen
wird. Wir sind einfach gut ausgebildet.“

BAND KNORKATOR.
Their song IHR HABT GEWONNEN (You Have Won) is
about the loneliness that many people suffer from, even
though, in the age of social media, everyone can constantly
be connected with each other. For the song, they
released a music video with impressive visuals. Singer
Gero Ivers is alone in an apartment surrounded by machines
and wires. In other scenes, he sings in front of a
huge wall of smartphones, which display thousands of
faces looking at him.
MAKE-BELIEVE ON SOCIAL MEDIA
“The mood of the video represents the feeling of the
resigned individual who is fighting a hopeless battle
against a large mass of people,” explains director Sebastian
Nozon. Of course, the internet is a great invention,
Sebastian asserts, but if you don‘t use it responsibly,
harm can be done. “It‘s a fake world that always depicts
the optimum. Anyone who tries to compare themselves
with these standards can only fail. I wanted to criticize
this to some extent with the video.”
With the chance to shoot a clip for Knorkator a dream
came true for Sebastian. Ever since he became a filmmaker,
he has wanted to shoot a music video for his alltime
favorite band.
When he turned 40 and heard that the band was planning
to release a new album, he told himself: “If you
don‘t do it now, you‘ll never do it!” So he got in touch
