Diese RDS-PP ® Anwendungsrichtlinie für Windkraftwerke wurde von einer Projektgruppe des
TC „Kennzeichnung und Dokumentation“ in enger Zusammenarbeit mit Herstellern, Betreibern,
Forschungseinrichtungen und Instandhaltern aus der Windbranche erarbeitet.
Die Anpassung der Anwendungserläuterung war auf Grund von Marktanforderungen, technischen
Weiterentwicklungen in der Windenergiebranche sowie Anpassungen an internationale
Normen, insbesondere IEC 81346-2 von 2009, erforderlich geworden. In den jeweiligen Ab schnitten
sind die wesentlichen Abweichungen zur ersten Ausgabe dieser Richtlinie dargestellt.
Der VGBE/VGB-Standard VGB-S-823-32-2021-12-EN-DE (2. Auflage) des
VGB-S-823-32-2014-03-EN-DE ersetzt auch die Publikation VGB-B 116 D2.
Für die Anwendung des VGBE/VGB-Standards VGB-S-823-32-2021-12-EN-DE werden neben dem Grundwerk als Print- und
eBook-Version auch geeignete Lizenzen mit weitergehenden Nutzungsrechten für den Anwender angeboten.
Diese Ausgabe berücksichtigt insbesondere die Erfahrungen bei der Anwendung des VGB-Standards von 2014.
Änderungen und Erweiterungen beziehen sich im Wesentlichen auf:
a) Neuordnung der Hauptsysteme;
b) Anpassungen an Fachnorm;
c) Erweiterung der Abschnitte für Signale und Leitsystem;
d) Neue Abschnitte Bautechnik, Gesamtanlage;
e) Anlagen A3 und A4 der Ausgabe 2014 entfernt.

The Reference Designation System for Power Plants, or RDS-PP ® for short, is the international designation system for
all types of energy plants, edited by vgbe energy.
This RDS-PP ® application guideline for wind power plants was developed by a project group of the TC “Designation and
Documentation” in close cooperation with manufacturers, operators, research institutions and maintenance personnel
from the wind industry.
The adaptation of the Application Explanation had become necessary due to market requirements, technical further developments
in the wind energy sector as well as adaptations to international standards, in particular IEC 81346-2 of 2009. The
main deviations from the first edition of this guideline (Rev. 0) are shown in the respective sections.
The VGBE/VGB standard VGB-S-823-32-2021-12-EN-DE (2 nd edition) of VGB-S-823-32-2014-03-EN-DE also replaces the publication
VGB-B 116 D2.
For the application of the VGBE/VGB Standard VGB-S-823-32-2021-12-EN-DE, suitable licences with further rights of use for
the user are offered in addition to the basic work as print and eBook version.
Above all, this edition takes into account the experience of applying the 2014 VGB-Standard.
Changes and extensions essentially refer to:
a) reorganization of the main systems;
b) adaptation to sector specific standard;
c) extension of the clauses for signals and control technology;
d) new clauses for civil engineering and total plant:
e) Annex A3 and Annex A4 of Ed. 2014 removed.
