ki vplivajo na uspe{nost ali neuspe{nost<br />

oploditve.<br />

- Pripravili in ovrednotili smo prehranske<br />

dodatke z antioksidacijskimi lastnostmi, ki pri<br />

termi~ni obdelavi in skladi{~enju prepre~ujejo<br />

oksidacijski razpad jedilnih olj. Pri~akujemo,<br />

da bodo te u~inkovine zagotavljale kontrolirano<br />

stabilnost olj in drugih izdelkov na bazi<br />

ma{~ob (majoneza, smetana, mleko, itd).<br />

- Dokon~ali smo projekt »Su{ilnik za programirano<br />

su{enje TLC plo{~«. Izbrali smo ustreznega<br />

proizvajalca, to je podjetje Iskra PIO<br />

d.o.o. iz [entjerneja in skupaj z njim smo<br />

pri~eli tr`iti izdelek. Su{ilnik je pri uporabnikih<br />

dobil zelo pohvalne ocene, ker omogo~a<br />

su{enje v zaprtih in kontroliranih pogojih in s<br />

tem isto~asno izbolj{a ponovljivost analiznih<br />

meritev in pove~a po`arno varnost. Izdelek<br />

ima slovenski patent in je v fazi patentiranja<br />

v nekaterih evropskih dr`avah.<br />

- Za vodotopno obliko koencima Q10 (CoQ10)<br />

smo v letu <strong>2005</strong> vlo`ili mednarodno patentno<br />

prijavo PCT/SI<strong>2005</strong>/000013 in zanjo v<br />

Sloveniji `e prejeli patent {t. SI 21807. Za<br />

proizvodnjo in tr`enje tega izdelka smo<br />

sklenili pogodbo s podjetjem Valens Int.<br />

d.o.o., Ljubljana, ki je pri~el s tr`enjem<br />

vodotopnega CoQ10 pod za{~itno znamko<br />

Q10Vital. Sodelovali smo pri pripravi<br />

mednarodnega simpozija »Dan koencima<br />

Q10«, ki je potekal 10. novembra <strong>2005</strong> v<br />

Ljubljani. Simpozija se je udele`ilo pribli`no<br />

100 doma~ih in tujih udele`encev. Na<br />

simpoziju smo predstavili vlogo konencima<br />

Q10 v ~love{kem organizmu in prednost<br />

na{ega izdelka v primerjavi z nevodotopnimi<br />

in vodotopnimi oblikami tujih proizvajalcev.<br />

- Pripravili smo pilotno proizvodnjo vodotopnega<br />

Q10. Ob tem, da so na trgu `e prvi<br />

proizvodi narejeni po na{i licenci, smo<br />

nadaljevali z razvojem in testiranjem novih<br />

prehrambenih izdelkov. Pripravili smo mleko,<br />

jogurt, kefir, ~okoladne izdelke, sadne sokove<br />

in celo mineralno vodo obogateno s CoQ10.<br />

- The project »Programmable TLC dryer« was<br />

completed and the firm PIO d.o.o., [entjernej,<br />

Slovenia was selected as a producer of commercially<br />

available instrument.<br />

- The international patent application No. PCT/<br />

SI<strong>2005</strong>/000013 was submitted for our water<br />

soluble form of Coenzyme Q10 and the<br />

Slovenian patent No. SI 21807 was granted<br />

for the same. Together with our partner<br />

Valens Int. d.o.o., Ljubljana, Slovenia, we<br />

started to sell our product under the name<br />

Q10Vital. We co-organised the International<br />

symposium on Q10, which took place in<br />

Ljubljana on 10th November <strong>2005</strong>. Nearly 100<br />

participants attended this symposium. Our<br />

group presented the role of Q10 in human<br />

body and advantages of our water soluble<br />

form in comparison to other products on the<br />

market.<br />

- We succeeded in preparing a pilot production<br />

of water-soluble Q10. While products<br />

made using our licence are already on the<br />

market, we have continued with the development<br />

and testing of new food items. Milk,<br />

yogurt, kefir, chocolate products, fruit juices<br />

and even mineral water were enriched with<br />

coenzyme Q10. All products were then characterized<br />

for their chemical and organoleptic<br />

properties, as well as stability. In addition,<br />

we developed a synthesis for cyclodextrin<br />

complexes with new substances and continued<br />

the search for acceptable carriers for the<br />

water-soluble CoQ10 preparation.<br />

- The stability of polyphenols in juices made<br />

from blackcurrant using different maceration<br />

methods was evaluated. Concentrates from<br />

blackcurrant were also added to strawberry<br />

juices in order to enrich their colour and antioxidant<br />

activity, especially during storage at<br />

room temperature. After processing and during<br />

the storage, these new products were<br />

tested. The content of total polyphenols,<br />

anthocyanins, antioxidant activity, vitamin C<br />

and individual anthocyanins, flavonols and<br />

phenolic acids were measured. Strawberry
