bistvena prednost v primerjavi z objavljenimi<br />
metodami. Tako nismo dolo~ili samo skupne<br />
vsebnosti likopena v razli~nih vzorcih, ampak<br />
tudi vsebnost izomer.<br />
- S partnerji z University of Helsinki (Faculty of<br />
Pharmacy), Finska, smo dokon~ali delo o TLC<br />
lo~bi katehinov. S partnerji s Palacky University<br />
(Faculty of Medicine, Institute of Medical<br />
Chemistry and Biochemistry), Olomuc, ^e{ka,<br />
pa smo sodelovali pri raziskovanju biolo{ke<br />
in kemijske variabilnosti jakuna (Smalanthus<br />
sonchifolius). Sodelavci z In{tituta za<br />
hmeljarstvo in pivovarstvo iz @alca so nam<br />
pripravili prve vzorce korenin rastlin iz dru`ine<br />
srhkolistnic, ki naj bi vsebovali zdravilne<br />
naftokinone. S sodelavci z Biotehni{ke<br />
fakultete (Oddelek za agronomijo) Univerze<br />
v Ljubljani smo naredili preliminarne poskuse<br />
z ekstrakcijo snovi s povr{in listov zelja. Zelje<br />
se je razlikovalo po naravni odpornosti proti<br />
dolo~enim {kodljivim `u`elkam. Prvi rezultati<br />
so pokazali, da med odporno in neodporno<br />
vrsto zelja obstajajo razlike na molekularnem<br />
nivoju.<br />
- V okviru sodelovanja s skupino z University<br />
of Belgrade (Faculty of Pharmacy), Srbija in<br />
^rna gora, smo razvili HPLC metodo za<br />
dolo~anje fluorokinolonskega antibiotika<br />
norfloksacina v tabletah in metodo za<br />
dolo~anje ne~istot oziroma razgradnih<br />

that differed in their natural resistance against<br />
chosen harmful insects. First analytical results<br />
showed that differences between resistant<br />
and unresistant species exist on molecular<br />
level.<br />
- Within the cooperation with the group from<br />
University of Belgrade (Faculty of Pharmacy),<br />
Belgrade, Serbia and Montenegro, we developed<br />
a method for the determination of<br />
fluoroquinolone antibiotic norfloxacin in tablets<br />
and a method for the determination of<br />
impurities and degradation products in tablets<br />
with norfloxacin as the active ingredient.<br />
We studied conditions for TLC densitometric<br />
determination of norfloxacin by means of UV<br />
absorption or natural fluorescence of the<br />
compound.<br />
- Within the cooperation with the group from<br />
Medical Centre Ljubljana, Slovenia, we investigated<br />
the influence of enteral nutrition (with<br />
different dietary supplements with specific<br />
action on the digestive organs) on intestinal<br />
permeability and healing in multiple injured<br />
patients. Intestinal permeability was evaluated<br />
by determination of lactulose and mannitol<br />
in 43 urine samples. The ratio of<br />
lactulose/mannitol excretion in urine after<br />
their administration is of great importance<br />
for evaluation of malabsorption and intestinal<br />
permeability disruption in some diseases.<br />
