GLAVNI DOSE@KI V LETU <strong>2005</strong><br />

- Raziskali smo vpliv staranja visoko razvejenega<br />

komercialnega alifatskega poliestra pri<br />

razli~nih temperaturah na njegove strukturne,<br />

reolo{ke in termi~ne lastnosti. Pri visokorazvejenih<br />

polimerih, ki jih v splo{nem<br />

uvr{~amo med amorfne polimere, pri<br />

dolo~enih pogojih lahko nastane mikrostruktura<br />

razli~ne stopnje urejenosti, ki<br />

mo~no vpliva na njihove lastnosti. Termi~no<br />

in reolo{ko obna{anje poliestra je posledica<br />

urejanja strukture preko H-vezi med linearnimi<br />

sekvencami, ki so v visokorazvejanem<br />

poliestru prisotne kot nepravilnosti v strukturi.<br />

IMPORTANT ACHIEVEMENTS IN <strong>2005</strong><br />

- We investigated the effects of annealing the<br />

commercial hyperbranched aliphatic polyester<br />

at different temperatures on its structural,<br />

rheological, and thermal properties. Hyperbranched<br />

polymers, generally considered as<br />

amorphous materials, can form in some instances<br />

microstructures of different ordering<br />

degrees, which influences their properties<br />

considerably. Polyester thermal and rheological<br />

behaviour is a consequence of structural<br />

ordering through formation of H-bonds<br />

between linear sequences, which are present<br />

in the hyperbranched structure as the defects.<br />
