There is advanced <strong>design</strong> s<strong>of</strong>tware that is to perform these particular duties such<br />
as realistic rendering <strong>and</strong> product simulations. These are not just to prepare the<br />
piece for <strong>production</strong> but they are rather to test, simulate, animate or make a<br />
realistic visual rendering <strong>of</strong> the <strong>design</strong> which thus becomes more <strong>and</strong> more free<br />
from material concerns <strong>and</strong> turn into representations <strong>and</strong> images. Now, most <strong>of</strong><br />
the graphic <strong>design</strong>, architecture <strong>and</strong> l<strong>and</strong>scape <strong>design</strong> are first simulated through<br />
the screen, presented to the customers <strong>and</strong> then executed as real.<br />
Efficient communication is essential for any kind <strong>of</strong> <strong>design</strong> process <strong>and</strong> it is this<br />
sort <strong>of</strong> communication that the products come out without any misunderst<strong>and</strong>ing<br />
<strong>and</strong> defects in the <strong>production</strong> process. Technical or non-technical drawing is<br />
therefore, “is the tool that <strong>design</strong>ers use to ‘talk to themselves’ as well as the<br />
means by which they externalize their ideas <strong>and</strong> communicate them to others”<br />
(Baker 30) In the case <strong>of</strong> conventional <strong>design</strong> processes, the media for a product<br />
<strong>design</strong>er or architect consists <strong>of</strong> sketching, technical drawing, perspective<br />
drawing, rendered perspective drawing <strong>and</strong> modeling. Except for the modeling<br />
part which is also performed manually, all the others are dependent on the basic<br />
instrument <strong>of</strong> drawing. What the computers have done in principle is the<br />
perfection <strong>of</strong> these drawings, perfection <strong>of</strong> calculation in vectored forms <strong>and</strong><br />
generation <strong>of</strong> a virtual model which is perfected according to certain<br />
mathematical formula on the virtual world.<br />
Complementary to the perfection <strong>of</strong> drawing, the s<strong>of</strong>tware also has the ability to<br />
