Munich Re Group Annual Report 2006 Notes_Other information (51) Proposal for appropriation of profit Munich Reinsurance Company’s net retained profits for 2006 according to its financial statements prepared on the basis of the German Commercial Code amount to €1,033m (712m). The Board of Management will propose to shareholders at the Annual General Meeting that this profit be used for payment of a dividend of €4.50 (3.10) on each share entitled to dividend and that any residual amount be carried forward to new account.
