IFET.<br />

Yucca cernua Keith, WEEPING YUCCA. While not <strong>of</strong>ficially<br />

designated as such (because <strong>of</strong> the recentness<br />

<strong>of</strong> its discovery), we consider this East<br />

<strong>Texas</strong> endemic species to be <strong>of</strong> conservation<br />

concern; it is currently known from only 7<br />

populations (Keith 2003; E. Keith, pers. comm.).<br />

Yucca necopina Shinners, GLEN ROSE YUCCA, BRAZOS<br />

RIVER YUCCA. (TOES 1993: V; RARE 2002a, 20002b:<br />

G1G2S1S2; however, a lower rank may be appropriate<br />

since the species is apparently more<br />

common than previously known—Carr 2001) e<br />

Zephyranthes refugiensis F.B. Jones, REFUGIO ZEPHYR-<br />

LILY, REFUGIO RAIN-LILY. Flagg et al. (2002b) indicated<br />

that this species is <strong>of</strong> conservation concern.<br />

(RARE 2001 and RARE 2002b: G2G3S2S3) e<br />

Zizania texana Hitchc., TEXAS WILD RICE. This federally<br />

endangered species is known only from<br />

the upper 4 km <strong>of</strong> the spring-fed San Marcos<br />

River in Hays Co. (TOES 1993; Horne & Kahn<br />

1997; Terrell et al. 1997) (TOES 1993: I; RARE<br />

2002a: G1S1LEE) e T
