3.2. Space needed for use <strong>and</strong> maintenance<br />

The e-Brick requires little maintenance following <strong>installation</strong> but clearance is required to allow<br />

adequate cooling of the internal electronics.<br />

Allow the following clearances (see Figure 5):<br />

>500mm from the air intake<br />

>300mm from the exhaust outlet<br />

>25mm from sides<br />

If the e-Brick will be mounted in an enclosure rather than in free air, it is essential that adequate<br />

ventilation is provided. Refer to Table 2 for the rated power dissipation for each product variant;<br />

this figure should be taken in to account when calculating overall system cooling requirements.<br />
