4.5.4. Radiation<br />
In normal use, the e-Brick generates electromagnetic radiation within allowable limits; refer<br />
to 3.3.6 for relevant st<strong>and</strong>ards.<br />
Warning! The e-Brick forms part of a <strong>GEW</strong> <strong>UV</strong> drying system, providing essential safety<br />
functions. The <strong>UV</strong> dryer in the system presents some risk of exposure to <strong>UV</strong> radiation; this<br />
risk is minimised by application specific shielding. Refer to the relevant <strong>UV</strong> dryer <strong>user</strong> guides<br />
<strong>and</strong> system <strong>installation</strong> <strong>manual</strong>s for further information.<br />
4.5.5. Gases, Vapours, Dust<br />
The e-Brick power supply does not generate any gases, vapours or dust. Refer to 3.3.4 for<br />
recommended operating environment <strong>and</strong> exposure limits for contaminants.<br />
Note that <strong>UV</strong> dryers will generate some Ozone (O3) that is extracted to atmosphere by the<br />
cooling system. Refer to the relevant <strong>UV</strong> dryer <strong>user</strong> guides <strong>and</strong> system <strong>installation</strong> <strong>manual</strong>s<br />
for further information.<br />
