2.2) Providing Legal Consultation to Victims<br />
In 2005, the unit received clients requesting legal assistance in respect of violations of<br />
human rights perpetrated by the <strong>Palestinian</strong> Authority, its security services and other<br />
state agents.<br />
Means of Verification<br />
o The unit received at least 830 clients and provided them with 525 legal<br />
consultations.<br />
o This high number may indicate that PCHR’s status as a human rights legal agency<br />
is well established and respected.<br />
