The geometry <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> available volume where <strong>the</strong> chambers will be installed is a flat bored cylinder with <strong>an</strong> internal<br />

diameter <strong>of</strong> 2480mm, <strong>an</strong> external diameter <strong>of</strong> 4960mm, a minimum thickness <strong>of</strong> 100mm <strong>an</strong>d a dist<strong>an</strong>ce to <strong>the</strong><br />

Interaction Point <strong>of</strong> 5641mm in Z direction. The dist<strong>an</strong>ce from <strong>the</strong> beamline to <strong>the</strong> axis <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> pivoting parts <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

chambers is 1274mm in Y direction.<br />

B.4 Assembly <strong>an</strong>d installation<br />

The overall dimensions <strong>of</strong> a chamber are in mm : 1038x530x17 (26 if you count <strong>the</strong> chimney).<br />

The overall dimensions <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> SCs, are in mm: 1170x530x98 <strong>for</strong> <strong>the</strong> higher SC (or straight SC) <strong>an</strong>d 1170x530x80<br />

<strong>for</strong> <strong>the</strong> lower SC (or pivoting SC).<br />
