9.6 Installing the Voltage Selector Switch<br />
Prerequisites Machine shut down<br />
New Voltage Selector Switch (VSS)<br />
Procedure Follow the procedure below to install the Voltage Selector Switch (VSS).<br />
WARNING<br />
Electric shock hazard. High voltage exists inside at voltage selector switch when<br />
the engine is running. High voltage can cause severe injury or death.<br />
Shut down the machine before performing this procedure.<br />
1. Attach the support plate (g) to the VSS (e).<br />

2. Secure the VSS and support plate to the box.<br />
3. Install the mounting plate (f).<br />
4. Connect the wires to the VSS (e).<br />
5. Install the switch handle (b), locking ring (c), and face plate (d).<br />
6. Install the cover (a) to the voltage selector switch box.<br />
7. Install the air cleaner assembly.<br />
The procedure is now complete.<br />
