9.7 Removing the <strong>Generator</strong><br />
Prerequisites Roof removed<br />
Crane capable of lifting 227 kg (500 lb)<br />
Procedure Follow the procedure below to remove the generator.<br />
1. Remove the voltage selector switch. See Section 9.5 Removing the Voltage<br />
Selector Switch.<br />
2. Label, then disconnect all wires from the terminal strip (a).<br />
3. Remove the lower bracket (b) of the voltage selector switch box.<br />
4. Remove the screen (c) from the generator.<br />
5. Place suitable blocks (j) underneath the engine to support it.<br />
Note: For clarity, the blocks are shown with the generator already removed.<br />
