Community Feeding<br />
PIlot PRojECts: ECoNomIC ENablERs<br />
• The goal <strong>of</strong> this programme is to help reduce cases <strong>of</strong> malnutrition<br />
among Orang Asli children. The pilot projects were conducted in<br />
Jerantut, Pahang and Grik, Perak.<br />
• This initiative is to support food baskets for malnourished children,<br />
and runs until the children are rehabilitated<br />
• The pilot project was run in Jerantut, Pahang and Grik, Perak<br />
Feeding Centre Kampung Matau, Jerantut, Pahang<br />
Feeding Centre Kampung Orang Asli Paya Petai, Jerantut, Pahang<br />
Feeding Centre Kampung Orang Asli Sungai Tiang, Jerantut, Pahang<br />
Food Basket<br />
Urban extreme poor families received a monthly<br />
supplementary food basket for a year from the MyKasih<br />
Foundation. The food basket programme will leverage<br />
on its cashless food aid programme to distribute the<br />
aid where needed. The pilots for these projects were<br />
conducted in December 2012 in Semporna in Sabah,<br />
Samarahan in Sarawak and Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan.<br />
