Step 6: Evaluate Results
Pass/Fail Indication
The icon at the bottom of the main window indicates the overall result:
OK – All values are within the tolerance limits
Error – One or more values are out of tolerance
If 2-level tolerances have been defined, there is an additional icon:
OK – All measurements are within the strict tolerance limits
Caution – All measurements are within the standard tolerance limits
Error – One or more values are out of tolerance

Deviation Values
Note:
Some characteristic deviation values are also indicated (see Fig. 3-5):
• Delta E and delta H values (proofs)
Indicate compliance with the selected printing standard.
dH values can also be negative. This depends on the direction of the
hue angle deviation in the LCh color space. The absolute value (without
the sign) indicates the degree of this deviation.
• Density deviations (press sheets)
Relative deviations from the respective target values in percent.
Deviations from 0 are indicated as absolute values.
The names of color patches with maximum values are indicated in parentheses.
The character after a parenthesis indicates the color name.
Out-of-tolerance values are indicated in red. Further details about
these values are available in the report (see page 4-1).
