Unpublished Results<br />

Thermogravimetric analyses (TGA) on the salts KLiNa-24 <strong>and</strong> KLiNa-25 were<br />

performed in order to determine the degree <strong>of</strong> hydration <strong>and</strong> thermal stability. The<br />

thermograms showed the expected weight loss domain between 25 <strong>and</strong> 400 ºC corresponding<br />

to dehydration. We calculated 70 <strong>and</strong> 50 water molecules per formula unit KLiNa-24 <strong>and</strong><br />

KLiNa-25. These results are also supported by elemental analysis (Figures 4.7 <strong>and</strong> 4.8).<br />
