[H 2 Te 24 Mo 44 O 198 ] 34− (1) comprises two {HTe 12 Mo 22 O 98 } {Te 12 Mo 22 } fragments which are
connected via two -oxo bridges (Te−O−Te). Hence polyanion 1 can be described as a
dimeric molecular entity composed of two {Te 12 Mo 22 } half units which lack any kind of
symmetry element (see Figure 5.10 and 5.11).
