The Campus Safety and Security Committee is responsible for
reviewing topics and concerns relative to campus security. It welcomes
suggestions on security and topics for programs on security
awareness and crime prevention. The college also recommends
that all students, staff, and visitors intensify their awareness and
take responsibility for locking vehicles, being consciously aware of
personal belongings, and identifying and reporting unsafe conditions.
Should the college become aware of potential dangers, it
will communicate those conditions via public postings on campus.
Campus security personnel also provide an escort service from
campus buildings to campus parking lots when requested.
KCC has had good experience relative to a safe and secure
campus environment and wishes to continue these favorable conditions
through these policies and procedures and the cooperation
of our students, staff, and visitors.
The college’s complete policy on campus security is on file in
the President’s Office and in Student Services.
To earn credit, students who are at least 16 years of age can enroll
