PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE MINOR IN BUSINESS<br />

MANAGEMENT<br />

A Minor in Business Management is available to any <strong>LaGrange</strong> <strong>College</strong><br />

student, regardless of major. Courses cover the basic functional areas of<br />

business. The minor is designed to help students develop the ability to<br />

recognize and solve business and organizational problems and understand<br />

the role of business in the community, nation, and the world. Such<br />

exposure should enhance the student’s employment opportunities.<br />

A Minor in Business Management consists of the following 15 hours of<br />

coursework:<br />

• ACCT 2211<br />

• ECON 2200<br />

• MGMT 220<br />

• MGMT 3370<br />

• MRKT 3380<br />

To declare a minor in Business, the student must meet the following<br />

criteria:<br />

1. Have a GPA of 2.75/4.00 or better.<br />

2. Complete courses in the minor with a grade of 'C' or better.<br />

3. Students must take at least four of the minor courses at <strong>LaGrange</strong><br />

<strong>College</strong>.<br />
