the Witte Museum, San Antonio Zoo, the Japanese Tea

The Institute of Texas Cultures serves as the forum for the understanding and appreciation of
Texas and Texans from various cultures in the region. It strives to develop a rich and vibrant
culture in the arts and humanities that will expand the community's awareness and appreciation
of Texas through an engaging series of exhibits, programs, special events and hosts a four-day,
fun-filled cultural celebration of Texas' rich and diverse heritage. El Mercado or Market

life dancing come alive and there are abundant shops with one of a kind treasures; San Antonio
has over 25 museums to include the San Antonio Children’s Museum, a place where kids play

San Antonio was named one of America's top 25 cities for art by AmericanStyle magazine
in 2011. The local art scene is located in downtown’s Southtown neighborhood, where artists
