the desire of Europeans for spices and their travel to Asia (RI.K.3)<br />

check and support understanding of the read-aloud (RI.K.7)<br />

With assistance, categorize and organize facts and information<br />

from “The Spice Seekers” to answer questions about the<br />

connection between the desire of Europeans for spices and the<br />

search for alternate routes to Asia (W.K.8)<br />

Retell important facts and information from “The Spice Seekers”<br />
