Post session analysis:<br />

Yoga in the early stage of the group worked very well <strong>to</strong> settle them<br />

down and <strong>to</strong> bring their energy and attention “up”.<br />

Allowing time for extended sitting meditation, where we <strong>to</strong>ok 1-<br />

minute breaks <strong>to</strong> check and see how people were doing was felt <strong>to</strong><br />

have worked very well.<br />

Frank had made a powerful impact on the group and it was agreed<br />

that his presence for the remainder of the program - particularly on<br />

our away day - would help <strong>to</strong> galvanise the group and increase their<br />

motivation and confidence in the practice.<br />

The teaching on emotion needed longer time and more practical<br />

examples and opportunities <strong>to</strong> practice accepting and allowing<br />

feelings <strong>to</strong> emerge. This is a key challenge for this group and perhaps<br />

also for this client population. It needs <strong>to</strong> be worked out much more<br />

precisely next time round.<br />
