Configure cache memory usage<br />

In the Project Monitor, select the project you wish to configure.<br />

From the Administration menu, choose Configure Project. The Project<br />

Configuration Editor opens.<br />

Configure cache memory usage in the Caching tab. You can set the<br />

maximum amount of memory to be used for report caches, object caches, and<br />

element caches.<br />

Click OK to save your changes.<br />

Configure caching in a <strong>MicroStrategy</strong> Intelligence<br />

Server cluster<br />

Caching for clustered servers can be implemented using one of the following two<br />

approaches:<br />

In the Caching tab of the Project Configuration Editor, set the cache<br />

directory to the following shared directory<br />

\\machine name\shared directory name<br />

where machine name is the name of the machine on which the caches are stored<br />

and shared directory name is the name of the directory where caches are stored.<br />
