On the Database Connection Definition page, provide the following
information:
◊ Local system data source: From the list of DSNs, select the DSN the
database connection will use.
◊ Database login and Password: Type the login ID and password used to
access the database
If you wish to use Windows NT (Trusted) authentication, check the Use
network login ID (Windows NT authentication) check box. Any login ID
and password information you entered will be ignored and Windows NT
authentication will be used instead.
Click Next.
Review the information on the Summary page and click Finish to create
the database instance.
Delete a database instance

In the Database Instance Manager, right-click the database instance you want to
delete and choose Delete.

In the Database Instance Manager, right-click the name of the database
instance you wish to modify and choose Edit. The Database Instance Editor
opens.
Make the appropriate changes to the database instance definition.
Click OK.
