Lightning current arrester, surge arrester or combined lightning current<br />

and surge arrester, pluggable into type 2 LSA disconnection blocks. The<br />

integrated disconnection block contacts in the 10-pair plug-in SPD block<br />

allow protected testing, disconnecting or patching within the system or<br />

additional attachment of single-pair surge arresters.<br />

DRL plug-in SPD block (10 pairs): Lightning current arrester for 10 pairs<br />

Surge protective plug for 1 pair, energy-coordinated with DRL plug-in SPD blocks<br />

Lightning current arrester, surge arrester or combined lightning current<br />

and surge arrester that can be plugged into type 2 LSA disconnection<br />

blocks. The lightning current carrying 10-pair plug-in SPD block incorporates<br />

gas discharge tubes (optionally with visual fault indication) and disconnection<br />

block contacts. This allows testing, disconnecting or patching<br />

of pairs with plugged-in protection or the additional attachment of single-pair<br />

surge arresters to ensure optimal protection of terminal equipment.<br />

The surge arresters snap into the earthing frame and can be<br />

removed as a block, whenever required.<br />

The DEHNrapid LSA plug-in SPD block for LSA disconnection blocks effectively<br />

protects sensitive hardware from overvoltage and at the same time<br />

allows testing, disconnecting and patching of connected lines. The modular<br />

arrester system for LSA disconnection blocks can be combined to a<br />

combined lightning current and surge arrester and features fail-safe<br />

overload protection with visual fault indication of the discharge elements.<br />
