The insulation displacement method is used for quickly connecting several
lines at reasonable costs. This method is commonly used in telecommunications
systems (e.g. Deutsche Telekom AG).
The blocks are suitable for connecting plastic-insulated wires with copper
conductor material:
Conductor diameter: 0.4-0.8 mm
Outer diameter: 0.7-1.5 mm
After using wires with a conductor diameter of 0.65 mm, rewiring to
smaller diameters is no longer possible.
