NECKLACE
1. Cut a piece of beading thread 2m
long, thread on the 15mm pendant
bead and then bring both ends
together. The bead will now be half
way down the thread. Hold both ends
together and thread through the eye of
the beading needle.
2. Thread on the following sequence
of beads: three seed beads, one 4mm
bicone, one 6mm bicone, one 4mm
bicone, one 6mm bicone, one 4mm
bicone, three seed beads, one 6mm
pearl, three seed beads and one 4mm
bicone.
3. Working on left-hand strand only,
thread on five seed beads then the
following sequence of beads: one 4mm
bicone, three seed beads, one 6mm
pearl, three seed beads, one 4mm
bicone, one 6mm bicone, one 4mm
bicone and three seed beads, loop
through the 11mm pendant and then
take the thread back through the bead
sequence to create the drop. Repeat
this pattern for the right-hand strand.
4. Thread five seed beads onto the
left-hand strand, then the following
sequence of beads: one 4mm bicone,
three seed beads, one 6mm pearl,
three seed beads, one 4mm bicone,
one 6mm bicone, one 4mm bicone,
loop through one seed bead and then
take the thread back through the bead
sequence to create another drop.
Repeat this process for the right-hand
strand. You now have the five centre
drops.
5. Thread the following sequence of
beads onto each side: ten seed beads,
one 4mm bicone, one 6mm pearl, one
4mm bicone, ten seed beads, one
4mm bicone, one 6mm bicone, one
6mm pearl, one 6mm bicone, one
4mm bicone, twenty seed beads, one
4mm bicone, one 6mm pearl, one
6mm bicone, one 6mm pearl, one
4mm bicone and finish with twenty-six
seed beads.
6. To attach the clasp to the necklace,
thread the beading thread through
the loop of the clasp and then back
through the last seed bead three
times. Tie a knot and cut off excess
thread. Repeat for other side.
