make it • Materials 12” x 16” Renoir stretched canvas 20cm x 40cm piece of fabric for the trunk Assorted coordinating fabric scraps 50cm x 30cm wide vliesofix Fine tip fabric marker Pencil & plain white paper Sharp scissors Iron Step 1 Using the template provided, trace the tree trunk shape onto the paper side of the vliesofix. Cut out the trunk from the vliesofix allowing Large Medium Small an extra 1cm around the edges. Using the iron, fuse the trunk shape to the wrong side of the trunk fabric and allow to cool. Step 2 Using sharp scissors cut out the fabric tree trunk shape. Peel off the backing paper and place right side up onto the middle of the canvas, aligning the bottom edge of the trunk with the bottom edge of the canvas. Allow to cool. Step 3 Using the leaf template and the same method as for the trunk, cut out an assortment of leaves in a variety of fabrics and sizes. Arrange leaves and fuse onto canvas as per picture or as desired.
