1 A 26-year-old woman presents acutely unwell with shortness of breath. Her ECG<br />

shows s<strong>in</strong>us tachycardia, deep S waves <strong>in</strong> I, <strong>in</strong>verted T waves <strong>in</strong> III and Q waves <strong>in</strong> III.<br />

2 Dom<strong>in</strong>ant R <strong>in</strong> V1, <strong>in</strong>verted T waves <strong>in</strong> V1–V3, deep wide S waves <strong>in</strong> V6.<br />

3 Prolonged P–R <strong>in</strong>terval, depressed ST, flattened T waves, prom<strong>in</strong>ent U waves.<br />

4 S<strong>in</strong>us rhythm, bifid ‘p’ waves best seen <strong>in</strong> II, V3 and V4.<br />

5 A 65-year-old man presents with chest pa<strong>in</strong> radiat<strong>in</strong>g to the jaw. The ECG shows<br />

ST segment elevation <strong>in</strong> II, III and aVF, with T-wave <strong>in</strong>version <strong>in</strong> V5 and V6.<br />
