Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis are the two major forms of <strong>in</strong>flammatory<br />

bowel disease. There is significant overlap <strong>in</strong> the cl<strong>in</strong>ical features of these<br />

diseases.<br />

Box 5 summarizes typical presentations and highlights differ<strong>in</strong>g features that are<br />

likely to be mentioned <strong>in</strong> <strong>EMQs</strong>.<br />
