In Brazil, Amper was awarded the supply of the fibre networks to the FTTH of
Telefónica of Sao Paulo, as well as the award of the modernization of stations of the
Electric Power Company.
Telefónica selected Amper for its MPLS network in Venezuela, and it has selected
Amper to carry out the wireless network routing improvement works in Colombia.
In Belize, the Public Administration has commissioned Amper with its MPLS next
generation network to 10 Gb in order to provide new services by integrating the existing
services in corporate and residential environments.
Managed Services
Lastly, Amper is working on the integration of its Network Operation Centres in Spain,
Brazil and Colombia with a view to creating a Global Network Operations Centre which
shall improve their competitiveness in the provision of these services to the operators.
Cryptography Systems
In 2011, Amper developed a dual IP Encryptor for the Spanish Government which will
be certified by NATO in 2012 for its use in networks that handle classified information
pertaining to the Alliance.
Border Protection Systems
In Spain, the Ministry of Interior (General Directorate of Police and the Civil Guard) has
awarded Amper the design and implementation of the necessary technology for the
Operations Room, from where the new Territorial Command and Control Centres shall
be coordinated and directed.
It shall also house the Centre for Coordination of maritime surveillance of coasts and
borders, where the information of the Comprehensive External Surveillance System
(SIVE) in Malaga, Granada, Cadiz, Algeciras and Ceuta will be integrated and where
the actions of the Civil Guard shall be coordinated nationally.
It shall also be the Point of Contact for the national and international agencies, whose
activities are related to the maritime environment.
Emergency Services Management Systems
In Spain, the Ebro River Basin Authority has awarded Amper the contract for the
maintenance of the Automatic Hydrological Information System (SAIH) of the Ebro
River.
The Autonomous Community of Madrid has commissioned a new Fire Services Control
Centre within the 112 emergency service building. It will integrate the new TETRA
network with the existing network and make the networks interoperable.
With Telefónica, the management of incidents shall be integrated in the SIRDEE
network of the Ministry of Interior, which shall increase its operational capacity.
In France, Amper has been commissioned with the provision of the Emergency System
for the SAMU network of Dijon.
In Venezuela, in the Municipal District of Baruta, the most advanced Emergency Care
Centre in the country was deployed, known as "Baruta 171," which integrates the local
health care services of Polibaruta, the Traffic Police, the Baruta Health Clinic and Civil
Protection to optimise the response time to any emergency involving police assistance,
road safety, health services, civil defence and fire services to a town with a population
of 700,000.
In Argentina, Amper executed a similar system, the 911 Emergency Services of the city
of Mendoza.
And in Mexico, the Mexico City Safe project, the largest Emergency Care Centre in the
world in terms in the number of positions of operators, was expanded by integrating its
communications and with similar characteristics to the above.
