Chapter 10: INtime application development<br />
Using runtime310.exe<br />
• If your system has a previously installed version of INtime software, remove it<br />
using the Add/Remove Programs Applet in the System Control Panel (select:<br />
Start>Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs. Highlight INtime 3.05 (or earlier)<br />
program, and then click Remove). Make sure none of the INtime services are<br />
running. If they are running, ensure they are set to Manual Start (using the<br />
Start>Control Panel>Administrative User/Services applet) and reboot the system<br />
before you can successfully complete the uninstall operation.<br />
To install INtime runtime software:<br />
1. Start the runtime310.exe program by double-clicking it. You can find<br />
runtime310.exe in the redistribution folder of the CD-ROM, or in the most recent<br />
runtime31x.exe installer obtained form TenAsys.<br />
If the Installation program detects a previous version of INtime software, it<br />
prompts you to exit the installation and uninstall the previous version.<br />
If your system does not have the Microsoft Installer product, the Installation<br />
program prompts you to install it. After installation, you may need to reboot.<br />
The Installation program automatically resumes.<br />
2. Review the INtime License and note its terms and conditions.<br />
3. Select a destination directory for the INtime software files, then click the Next<br />
button. The default is %PROGRAMFILES%\INtime.<br />
4. Click the Next button to install the software.<br />
The runtime310.exe program creates the directory you specified, then installs the<br />
INtime software files.<br />
5. Click the Finish button to complete the installation process.<br />
6. Restart your system using one of these methods:<br />
• Select OK at the last screen. The runtime310.exe program restarts your system.<br />
• Restart your system at a later time. You must restart your system before<br />
running INtime software.<br />
Note<br />
The runtime310.exe executable installs those portions of INtime software that you can<br />
include in your derivative works. Use of runtime310.exe is governed by the INtime<br />
<strong>Software</strong> Redistribution License Agreement you must enter into in order to include INtime<br />
<strong>Software</strong> in your product.<br />

per unit royalty due to TenAsys Corporation for use of the INtime software in your product,<br />
