Chapter 7: Configuration<br />
Configuring INtime Local Kernel service to execute automatically<br />
To configure the INtime Local Kernel service to start automatically during Windows<br />
restart:<br />
1. Go to the Local Kernel Configuration applet.<br />
2. Check the Start INtime Kernel Automatically checkbox.<br />
3. Click the OK button<br />
4. Restart your system.<br />
Automatic loading of Realtime Applications<br />
INtime software can load your realtime applications automatically when the Local<br />
Kernel service starts:<br />
1. Open the Auto Load Configuration applet in the INtime Control Panel utlity.<br />
2. Click the Add button.<br />
3. Enter the Application Title, and the full path of the application (.RTA file) to load.<br />
4. Add any command-line parameters you want to specify.<br />
5. For other parameters, click the Advanced button.<br />
6. If your application is dependent on another application being loaded first, enter<br />
the name of the dependent application in the Dependencies list by clicking the<br />
Add button.<br />
7. Click OK. When the INtime Kernel restarts, your application automatically starts.<br />
Configuring a Windows service to execute automatically<br />
To configure a Windows service to start automatically during system reboot:<br />
1. Activate the Services applet found in Administrative Tools on the Control Panel<br />
(Start>Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Services).<br />
2. Highlight the service you want to start automatically.<br />
3. Click the right mouse button.<br />
4. Select Properties.<br />
5. Select Automatic as the Startup type.<br />
6. Click the OK button.<br />
7. Restart your system. Changes take effect only after you reboot the system.<br />
