INtime Serial Communications Sample<br />
This project demonstrates how to use the INtime Serial Communications library. The<br />
library and accompanying drivers allows the user to access serial devices such as the<br />
COM PC ports, RocketPort multi-channel PCI devices, and Edgeport multi-channel<br />
USB devices.<br />
The driver (C:\Program Files\INtime\Projects\serialio\debug\serdrvr.rta) operates as<br />
an INtime service that manages a serial device attached to COM1 or COM2 on an<br />
INtime system. The demo (C:\Program Files\INtime\Projects\<br />
serialio\debug\serialio.rta) uses an INtime Message Port to obtain read/write access to<br />
the COMn channel managed by the Serdrvr.rta service. Both components are provided<br />
in source and binary form. For more information, see the README.TXT file in the<br />
source code directory for this sample application.<br />

INtime Graphical Jitter<br />
This application measures the minimum, maximum, and average times between<br />
low-level ticks via an Alarm Event Handler. Because this application is made from both<br />
an RT and a Windows executable, it shows both INtime and INtimeDotNet API usage.<br />
INtime Graphical Jitter includes these executables:<br />
• Jitter.exe: The Windows executable. Automatically starts Clk1Jitr.rta, then<br />
processes output and displays a histogram.<br />
• Clk1Jitr.rta: The RT executable. Started by Jitter.exe.<br />
