Section 10.<br />

For the purposes of this act the members of the said<br />

"Miners' Board" shall have power to administer oaths.<br />

Section 11. All acts or parts of acts inconsistent herewith are<br />

hereby repealed.<br />

AN ACT<br />

To amend the tenth section of article ten of an act, entitled "An act to provide<br />

for the health and safety of persons employed in and about the anthracite<br />

coal mines of Pennsylvania, and for the protection and preservation of property<br />

connected therewith," approved the second day of June, Anno Domini<br />

one thousand eight hundred and ninety-one, providing that self-acting doors<br />

are used.<br />

Section 1. Be it enacted, &c, That the tenth section of article ten<br />

of an act, entitled "An act to provide for the health and safety of<br />

persons employed in and about the anthracite coal mines of Pennsylvania,<br />

and for the protection and preservation of property connected<br />

therewith," approved the second day of June, Anno Domini<br />

one thousand eight hundred and ninety-one, which reads as follows:<br />

"All main doors shall have an attendant whose constant duty it<br />

shall be to open them for transportation and travel and prevent them<br />

from standing open longer than is necessary for persons or cars to<br />

pass through," be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:<br />

shall be to open them for transportation and travel and prevent them<br />

from standing open longer than is necessary for persons or cars to<br />

pass through, unless a self-acting door is used which is approved by<br />

the inspector of the district.<br />

AN ACT<br />

To amend section four of article eight of an act, entitled "An act relating to<br />

bituminous coal mines and providing for the lives, health, safety and welfare<br />

of persons employed therein," approved the fifteenth day of May, Anno<br />

Domini one thousand eight hundred and ninety-three permitting the use of<br />

mineral oils in bituminous mines when used in approved safety lamps.<br />

Section 1. Be it enacted, &c, That section four of article eight of<br />

an act, entitled "An act relating to bituminous coal mines and providing<br />

for the lives, health, safety and welfare of persons employed
