Simultaneously thecontribution in the reduction of unemployment is considered important, because the study programswill be adapted in the needs of business community and the graduates will approach the job marketwith modern supplies.Subsidised executive’s training of tourist SME on ICT issuesDescriptionFrom a variety of studies and researches, an important weakness of ICT exploitation from the touristSME has been elected mainly owed in the “digital illiteracy” and the fear of technology. The particularproposal concerns the provision of motives in small and intermediate tourist enterprises for theirexecutive’s training, with accent in the independence of the training units and in the quick-pacedtraining.The proposed project has as an objective:• Initially the development of a study about the recording of cognitive deficits concerning theexisting human resources in the tourism sector and afterwards the organisation and planning ofthe personnel’s training program.• The constitution of a multileveled-training program based on the lacks that have been recordedbut also directed so as to keep pace with each tendencies and developments. Fundamentalobjective of the program is the effective combination of informative technologies andcommunications with the operational business activity of tourist enterprises.• The constitution of a representative instructor’s team that will emanate from the academiccommunity and from enterprises with developed know-how and accumulated experience.The initial, pilot operation of the training program and the evaluation of results are judged necessaryso much from the participants as also from the enterprises, trying an exploitation of the retroactionand the continuous modernisation of the content and the teaching methods. Finally, it is proposed inthe project framework the development of an evaluation system concerning the training results andits’ effect and in the service’s quality of SME with relative later research. It is also considered important the profit’sdiffusion from the adoption of ICT via the mobility of the work.Extension of provided education with e-learning methods in the abroad tourist agentsDescriptionThe Ministry of Tourism is already programming the electronic knowledge diffusion (e-learning), incollaboration with OTEK and other institutions. Recipients of this education are the tourism enterprisesand their personnel.The present proposal is an adaptation of a best practice that is followed in countries as Portugal andMalta and concerns the education of foreigner tourist agents with e-learning methods (with theGrafenstein system - http://www.grafenstein.net/index.html).
