Four of the five states reporting thehighest heart disease rates score among the bottom ten for exercise rates. Three of the five states reporting the lowestdisease rates—Utah, Colorado, and Minnesota—are among the top five for exercise rates. Alaska, where diet includessignificant amounts of fish, leads the list of states reporting lowest heart disease rates. Alaska also ranks among the topten states reporting high exercise rates.
