Degree facltates transfer to a Maryland fouryearnsttuton for students to complete a course of study to become an Englsh secondary educaton teacher. Ths program provdesthe first two years of a four-year bachelor’s degree and teacher certification program in English. To earn the A.A.T. degree, studentsmust acheve a mnmum 2.75 cumulatve GPA, pass the Praxs I Exam, and complete a professonal portfolo.PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The Assocate of Arts n Teachng degree program s desgned for teacher educaton transfer students.The program is based on specific learning outcomes and is comprised of foundation-level pedagogical coursework, field experience,and general education which meet academic content, outcomes, and requirements of the first two years in a teacher education programn Englsh.
