The program was developed and is maintained in accordance with state and federal correctional standards.The certificate is designed so that students may progress to the Criminal Justice – Corrections Degree option.PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The Criminal Justice—Corrections Certificate is designed to prepare students for entry-level employmentor advancement in the field of law enforcement. Note: Completion of this program is not a prerequisite for entry into a policeacademy nor does it provide complete entry-level training for work as a county or state police officer.
