Emphasss placed on weldng carbon steel ppe jonts n a varety ofpostons ncludng horzontal and rotated welds (1G), horzontalfixed (2G), vertical welds (5G), and welds on 45-degree angleppe (6G). Ths course provdes studentswth knowledge and sklls to prepare for Amercan WeldingSociety (AWS) pipe welding certification using four-inch andsx-nch dameter schedule 40 and 80 ppe n the 6G (45-degree)fixed position.
