The programs equvalent to one full-tme semester of college and s approprate for dual enrollment students and students undecded about a major.The credits earned in this basic certificate may also be applied to other <strong>Chesapeake</strong> <strong>College</strong> certificate and degree requirements.PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The Transfer Studies Basic Certificate is designed for students who intend to transfer to a four-year collegeor university. The flexible program combines core general education requirements and elective credit to create a basic certificatethat can be completed in one semester or built upon either at <strong>Chesapeake</strong> <strong>College</strong> through the 30-credit Advanced Certificate or intransfer at a four-year nsttuton. Students should acquant themselves wth the requrements of the major department at the collegeor unversty to whch transfer s contemplated and consult wth the <strong>Chesapeake</strong> <strong>College</strong> Transfer Advsor n plannng an approprateprogram of study.
