(b)the approved housing body that the HSE has been notified of the application<strong>for</strong> funding; and that, prior to consideration of the request <strong>for</strong> funding,written confirmation of HSE support <strong>for</strong> the application and confirmation thatthe project is approved in principle by the HSE <strong>for</strong> ongoing revenue funding<strong>for</strong> health service related support costs, is necessary, where such costs havebeen identified by the approved housing body.9. In the case of projects to be undertaken through revenue based funding <strong>for</strong> theprovision of accommodation, e.g. leasing type arrangements, written confirmation ofapproval in principle by the HSE <strong>for</strong> ongoing revenue funding <strong>for</strong> health servicerelated support costs should be included in the proposal submitted to theDepartment of the Environment, Heritage & Local Government by the approvedhousing body.10. This protocol applies to social housing projects provided by approved housing bodies<strong>for</strong> people <strong>with</strong> a disability. A review of this protocol shall be undertaken by theDepartment of the Environment, Heritage & Local Government and the Departmentof Health and Children, following the first 12 months of implementation and,thereafter, shall be subject to periodic review as necessary.11. This protocol has been adopted <strong>for</strong> implementation <strong>with</strong> effect from 8th March <strong>2011</strong>.157
