It is noted that the leasing initiative may be particularly suitable for peoplewith a mental health or an intellectual disability who do not require adaptations to facilitatetheir physical needs. However, its potential to meet the needs of those with certaindisabilities is limited. For example, properties requiring significant adaptations to meet theneeds of people with physical disabilities or mobility issues are particularly difficult to sourcethrough leasing.
