One potentialprioritization approach presented groups projects based on the orientation of trips potentiallyserved by each improvement. Each project was classified based on its potential to facilitatelonger distance “linear” commute trips, shorter “transit access” trips, or a combination of thetwo. Projects may be bundled that relate to the each multimodal package. For instance, transitaccess projects may be emphasized to support enhanced transit elements of the multimodalpackage and linear elements may be emphasized to complement improvements to I-66.
