Abstract: This report presents <strong>the</strong> results of an environmental<br />

survey of dyehouses within <strong>the</strong> <strong>Polish</strong> textile<br />

industry and <strong>the</strong> identification of options for<br />

pollution prevention and resource savings. The main<br />

focus of <strong>the</strong> initiative has been possibilities for<br />

implementation of cleaner technology solutions being<br />

environmentally and economically friendly at <strong>the</strong> same<br />

time. The initiative has been financied by <strong>the</strong> Danish<br />

Cooperation for Environment in Eastern Europe (DAN-<br />

CEE).<br />
